I have been fascinated by history even when I was a child. My grandparents would tell me stories about famous figures, and members of our extended family tree. I loved hearing about how my ancestors migrated from the old country into America.

I believe that is why I got into building model ships. My favorite piece is a cutty sark ship model, because it is so intricate and beautiful. There are days when I admire my ship and imagine these beautiful boats sailing gracefully in the ocean during the olden times.
