Special Usefulness of Touch Sensitive Lamps

The usefulness of lamps has not diminished over the years. If ever, we are experiencing unique features in modern day lamps that add to their convenience. Take touch-sensitive lamps, for example. These are activated by the human touch rather than the flick of the switch. Some offer graduations in the strength of their glow. Touch them once and they exude a dim glow; touch it one more time and the glow gets brighter.

This feature of the lamp is useful almost anywhere but more so around the bedroom. Wouldn’t it be great to just extend your hand to touch your bedside lamp if you want to put it on or off rather than having to grapple with the switch? Touch sensitive lamps that can be attached to the wall will provide great lighting in a dark closet. A light tap will put it on and another tap will switch it off when you are done. These are useful pieces that can add a bit for the aesthetics as well.
