Since the 1890s, there is a certain kind of lamp that continues to capture the fancy of people who appreciates good works of art. The original Tiffany lamps were created by Louis Comfort Tiffany and the record price to date for one of his lamps surpasses $8M USD. A Tiffany lamp’s signature is its pieces of stained glass soldered together with copper foil.

Nowadays there are very few of the originals left for public sale. Whatever are available are tremendously expensive. Because of this, reproductions have been made are sold by various sellers. Although workmanship and faithfulness to the original Tiffany design differ between modern manufacturers, every lamp is still created using the copper foil method.
