rocking horses

When I had my own daughter, I vowed that I would try to raise her the traditional way. For me this meant more of the traditional toys and books instead of video games and the internet. I had imagined that I’d fill the nursery room with a rocking chair, wooden rocking horses, a stack of hardbound books and some stuffed toys. I did not want a TV set, a DVD player or a personal computer in her room. I wanted her room to be free of electronic clutter and other modern gadgets as much as possible.
I even have in mind the baby nursery from the movie sequel “Father of the Bride 2″. It was the most beautiful baby room I had ever seen. It was this room filled with stuffed toys and rocking horses that inspired me to create an old fashioned nursery for my baby as well. Today my daughter is nearly four, she has no interest in watching television unless “Dora” is on, loves to make up stories with her dolls and is always pestering me to read her a book. I couldn’t be happier.
