Why is setting up a baby’s bed important, you ask? It’s not rocket science; on top of making baby comfortable when lying down, baby bedding should also support baby’s body at a time when his bones are still growing. It should also resist dirt and bacteria so he can be assured of a healthy environment as he rests. It should also provide him with warmth without having to layer him in so many fabrics.
Usually, baby bedding has four to five basic pieces:*the crib sheet, to cover the foam or mattress*The bedding skirt, to layer on the sheet*The bumper, to keep baby safe as he moves*The quilt, to serve as baby’s blanket*The dust ruffle, to keep out the dirt
