Refurbishing your bathroom need not be very expensive if you are willing to do some of the tasks yourself. Installing ceramic wall tile, for example, is easy to do once you have established the layout you want. First, make sure the wall surface is thoroughly clean of dust and debris. Select a pre-mixed adhesive for your wall tile by checking the label to see if it’s right for your situation as some adhesives don’t work in high-moisture areas.

Set the first wall tile at the center section near the floor then work your way out and up. Remember to put space in between tiles so you can adjust them if needed. The adhesive should moreover cover about 80% of the tile so it would stick well. Mark tiles for cutting to fit them around the plumbing. Nip off smaller chips at a time using tile nippers so you can avoid taking off more than you need.
