Home improvement projects are a favorite pastime of many Americans. You don’t even have to hire people to it. There are numerous do it yourself projects that you can do by yourself. By tackling DIY projects for your home you save a lot of money. It’s also fun. I, myself, repainted my sons room and added some seaside decor.

My son seems to want anything related to the seas. Ever since he watched Finding Nemo, all he wanted to be was a sea explorer. So my wife and I decided to decorate his room as if he was living in a submarine. Some of the seaside décor we got for him was a porthole window and an emergency lifesaver buoy. I also wanted to get him a real brass dive helmet but it was too expensive.
