Most people have an affinity with nature. Maybe it’s in our DNA. Just being in nature seems to relax me and takes away my stress. That is precisely why I love looking at wooden art. The smell and feel of the wood is heaven to me.
Most wooden art are sculptures. I love it when the artist takes into consideration the wood’s natural shape and texture. When done right, it’s like the art piece was there all along waiting to be born. It’s like a diamond in the rough. Each piece has to be polished and cut to bring out perfection. That’s how I feel about wooden art.
