Holiday decor

When we think of decorations for the holidays, the list would seem endless. Holiday decor would usually mean decoration for Christmas but it really can mean decorations for a lot of different holidays. For Christmas, the most popular holiday décor is Santa Claus, whether as dolls or pictures. Santa Claus images instantly recall the various activities we do during this favorite season. But here are some other holiday decors.

For Valentine’s Day of course, there is Cupid and hearts. For 4th of July, the American flag, in various sizes and designs. For Thanksgiving which is symbolized by the turkey, therefore turkey toys, drawings etc. Whatever other holidays we have, we like to decorate our homes, our rooms, our cars, with symbols and images which appropriately remind us of the holiday’s significance. That is just the way we are.
