patriotic home decor

Every year on the fourth of July, millions of Americans hold a backyard barbecue and invite friends over to celebrate our nation’s independence. Some even bring out their patriotic home décor and use them for this special occasion. In fact, the only other time patriotic home decor becomes fashionable is during the presidential elections and on the inauguration of a new president. Since that happens only once every four years, the fourth of July is the time to literally roll out the red, white and blue.
You can decorate your home in patriotic home décor anytime. It’s easy to do; you can have napkins, cups, table cloths and glasses in red white and blue. There are several home décor items in stars and stripes too which you can buy. These too are patriotic. You can even get curtains and drapes with stars or stripes and pillows as well. The thing to remember is to not overdo it. Your décor should blend well together. If you choose stars and stripes for one room, don’t mix it up with red, white and blue – you can use that theme for another room.
