Stools and Bar Sitting
Stools are important additions in any home. Because of its portability it is useful in bedrooms, in the kitchen and as additional sitting in the porch. I always keep a plastic stool in the bedroom as I find it useful for reaching into the top of cabinets and as a temporary stand for an appliance or equipment while I am working on it. It does not get in the way as it can be kept in a corner when not in use. You can even stack a multiple of stools; they will not occupy too much space.
Stools are more commonly associated with bars where metal bar stools are standard furnishings. Stools may be made of wood, wicker or plastic, but in bars they are usually made with wrought iron or stainless steel stands often with wooden seats. They are also usually backless, to make climbing up easy. High end bars offer more comfortable sitting in their bar counter. Some have low backs and sits that are padded and upholstered.
