Have Fun Decorating your Aquarium
The fun in maintaining an aquarium is first and foremost the joy of watching fishes swim about. Different fishes have different habits that are interesting to study. Their colors are enchanting. A child will benefit identifying colors and remembering the names of each fish species. It will keep him ahead in his science class when he starts school.
Another fun aspect in maintaining an aquarium is in arranging decorations to make them look as natural as possible. Decorations for aquarium can include rocks, driftwood and plants. Position some pieces off center and create depth by arranging larger and smaller objects at angle. But, before these can be arranged you will need sand or gravel at the bottom of your tank. Not only will it provide a beach-like effect, it will also help hold the plants and decorations in place.
