A little girl typically dream of becoming a princess. She might also be fond of faeries, pets, pretty dolls and cute stuffed toys. The popularity of the princess products has exploded into thousands of toys and merchandising products. All of a sudden, there are princess themed parties and clothes for every occasion. It would seem that the princess trend might me peaking so toy stores and animation companies are now looking at alternative character for girls. The next sets of characters that will be marketed towards young girls will most probably be faeries.

The faerie characters will be a wonderful alternative for girls who may not like or may have gotten tired of being princesses. Faeries have their own unique appeal and charm. The butterfly wings that are worn by girls these days to parties are in fact so popular that they are available anywhere these days.
