Handcrafted wood decor

It seems that antiques and vintage interiors are hot right now. I often read interior magazines and I’m seeing more and more of antique and vintage inspired owned by young people in their 30s. My friend who is in her early 30s just renovated her apartment. She invited us for a housewarming party and the first thing I noticed was that she had a lot of handcrafted wood décor as accents. She wanted vintage inspired interiors too and went to second hand stores mostly for her furniture.

A lot of handcrafted wood décor are done in third world countries like China and the Philippines. I have been to international trade shows and have seen them up close. They add a sense of elegance to any room. Handcrafted wood decor are so classic that they invoke a vintage feel. Some of them are specially crafted to look like antiques. They are hand painted with muted colors to look old.
