Teach small children the concept of time using fun items. Hang decorative clocks in various rooms of your house. Consider getting clock designs for their bedrooms that would appeal to their senses such as their favorite cartoon characters or super heroes. You can also buy them analog instead of digital wristwatches that would better train them to read time.

Practice children to count by 5’s and train them to pay attention to where the little hand is when they are trying to figure out what time it is. Teaching children about time concepts enables them to become more independent and responsible. It helps them understand how long a certain time frame is and how much they should set aside to tackle their everyday tasks.
