soy candle

Soy milk isn’t the only famous product of soy beans. There’s also the soy candle, which is slowly becoming popular. The soy wax used to create this candle is made from hydrogenated soybean oil, which is a cheaper alternative to beeswax. The soy candle is slowly but surely gaining popularity not only because it is cheaper and easier to make, but also through its advantages over that of paraffin and beeswax candles:

*Soy wax is all-natural, which means it is easier on the environment because it is not made from petroleum. Burning soy candles does not increase the Co2 level in the atmosphere.*Soy candles last longer and wax spills are easy to clean.*Soy candles produce less soot, which is both unhealthy and dirty, particularly on furniture.*The scented variety distributes more flavor, because the soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion.
