You can never go wrong with goose down material for your comforters, duvets and pillows. Different types of geese produce different kinds of down but they all have great insulating properties. Siberian goose down is considered the best in terms of thermal qualities. There is also Eiderdown that comes from Eider ducks from Iceland. Both come from extremely cold climate making them the warmest and most luxurious down available.

Goose down pillows and comforters not only provide warmth. They are also good for people who are prone to allergy. Hypodown comforters, for example, are a mix of Hungarian goose down and milkweed. Hungarian goose down is considered the cleanest because it holds little dander or dust. It is mixed with a plant to produce an airy, hypoallergenic product.
