Lengthen the Life of Your Bath Mats

Bath mats are also accessories that we tend to buy a lot of. Like beddings, they need a lot of storage space. The bath mats that we are finding in stores today have come a long way from the braided cotton fabric mats that we saw a lot of when we were younger. Modern mats have polyester components in their material. They feel soft like Egyptian cotton bath mats but are so easy to care for and appealing in their designs.
These mats stand up to traffic and frequent laundering. But we can still do something to lengthen the life of our bath mats. Just like any other form of floor matting, keeping it clean will lengthen its life. They should be vacuumed often. This will lessen the need to load into a washer. Keep away from direct sunlight when drying. Bath rugs with latex lining can turn stiff and dry up under intense heat.
