Give your new baby a pleasant place to come home to. Fix up her room with stylish and comfortable baby nursery decor. With lots of ideas that abound in books and magazines, in store displays and from what you see in other people’s houses, deciding on a theme can be difficult. Obviously, the first thing you should do is limit your choice to one that will fit the gender. You should choose colors and textures that will excite the baby’s just developing senses.
Avoid choosing highly faddish room décor. Consider themes that will be in style for a period longer than a couple of years. Choose stuff that baby will enjoy as she grows older. A good idea is to have a neutral color as a background, adding colorful items that you can change from time to time. White or beige paintwork on the walls will do this. Use color in the bed accessories. Toys naturally come in bold colors so it should add to the cheeriness of the room.
